Many students ask us, ‘How to learn Japanese Fast?’. They wish to complete multiple levels quickly and are looking for an intensive Japanese Course. We usually do not recommend this since Japanese is a difficult language to digest. We can teach, but will students remember everything we taught? However, at the same time, some students have a good memory and the willingness and time to put in the extra hours needed to learn Japanese quickly, so we have another option for them: we will give them access to recordings of our previous live classes. This guarantees that they will get access to the full course.

For our regular batch, we have a two to three-hour session on every Saturday and Sunday for our live classes. However, in this case, students can watch one such session or more every day at their convenience. They can revisit any session they might have difficulty remembering by accessing the recordings on our sister site, DriveLms. These video recordings are accompanied by complimentary access to our Japanese practice tests so that students may test their knowledge. Each test can be given as many times as needed. Many of our existing students who are not able to attend our regular classes after enrolling are still able to pass the exam by diligently watching the recorded videos, completing homework as asked in the videos, and taking practice Japanese tests over and over.

The DriveLms site also provides free flashcards to anyone with a Google account. You need not be enrolled in any of our programs to access it. So, if you are looking for flashcards to practice Japanese, do head over to the DriveLMS flashcards section. Or if you’d like to explore whether Japanese is right for you, we also offer a free Introduction to Japanese course featuring 10 recorded sessions.

Customized Japanese Lessons That Go Beyond the Basics

We have also come across students who want to learn more than what is covered in the JLPT syllabus. They are fine with the time it takes to complete the course. For them, we have an even more interesting option. We give them the same access to our recordings as that for the fast-track batch and ask them to watch two sessions during the week. Then we have a one-hour session every Saturday and Sunday to clear doubts and teach something outside the syllabus. For example, some students want to have role playing to practice conversation, some want to cover vocabulary specifically used in their type of work. This type of approach gives students an immense advantage as it makes class time much more efficient.

This course isn’t for everyone, and that’s perfectly okay. We understand that every learner has their own set of circumstances, and many are juggling personal or professional responsibilities while trying to study a new language. Not everyone has the time or space for an intensive approach. However, for those who do — and who are motivated to go beyond the basics — this course offers a more immersive experience. Students are expected to study and complete homework during the weekdays, then attend live classes on weekends. It’s a more demanding format, but it’s designed for learners who are eager to make faster progress and are ready to invest that extra effort. Our goal is simply to provide one more learning path for those who want it and have the leeway to pursue it.
